Ulla Bussek

Ulla Bussek (born August 11, 1943 in Beuel ) is a Hamburg politician on the Green Alternative List (GAL).

Life and politics

The trained psychologist works as a school psychologist at REBUS (regional advice and support centers).

From November 1986 to February 1989 and from 1991 to 1997 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . During the 15th electoral term (1993–1997) she was Vice President of the Citizenship. She was for the GAL parliamentary group in the Committee on School, Youth and Vocational Training and in the Sports Committee.

In the 1997 election she wanted to run again for the citizenship election, but was no longer considered by her own party.

From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the GAL parliamentary group in the Hamburg-Nord district assembly and was her party's spokesperson for school policy.

At the beginning of 2007, Bussek took part in the “Hamburg Appeal”. The appeal is directed against the deportation of families to Afghanistan.
