Ulric Guttinguer (born January 31, 1785 in Rouen , † September 21, 1866 ) was a French writer .

Ulric Guttinguer (spr. Güttenggähr) was one of the first older poets to openly convert to the party of the Romantics ; he was co-editor of La Muse française . His best work are the Mélanges poétiques (1824), which testify despite Guttinguer's romantic dependence on his teacher and friend Charles Millevoye . In addition to other lyrical poems and journal articles, there are also several novels by him.

Guttinguer was president of the Académie de Rouen .
