Ulrich Alder
Ueli Alder (born March 9, 1922 in Urnäsch ; † July 24, 2014 ) was a Swiss violin player from the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden . The farmer came from the Alder family of musicians and learned to play the violin at the age of nine from his grandfather Johannes Alder. The first public appearances began at the age of 19, together with a dulcimer player . He played Alder in the third generation of the original string music and composed around 50 pieces of music. The Appenzeller Streichmusik is the traditional Ländler assigned and u with wood instruments such as the violin, chopping board. A. executed.
