Ulrich Deuschle

Ulrich Deuschle (born April 16, 1952 in Notzingen ) is a graduate economist and politician. He is a member of the Republican Party (REP). Deuschle is married and has two children.

Professional background

He graduated from high school in Kirchheim unter Teck . He then studied economics, history and political science in Stuttgart and Tübingen , graduating with a degree in economics in the fall of 1978. From April 1980 he worked in the commercial area at Mercedes-Benz AG, and had been released from work since June 1992.

Political offices

He has been based in the Esslingen district since 1989 and is the district chairman of the Republicans in the Esslingen district. Deutschle is parliamentary group chairman in the regional association of the Stuttgart region, district executive in Northern Württemberg and is a member of the state executive. Since 1994 he has been chairman of the REP parliamentary group in the regional association for the Stuttgart region. From April 24, 1992 he was deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of Republicans in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. He was also chairman of the committee for science, research and the arts. In the federal election in 2005 , Deuschle ran as the top candidate of his party in Baden-Württemberg . In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , Deuschle ran as the top candidate.
