Ulrich Heer

Ulrich Heer († December 23, 1514 ) was the librarian of the St. Gallen monastery .

Heer was one of the professed in St. Gallen under Abbot Gotthard Giel von Glattburg , who died in 1504. In 1504 he was one of the conventuals who elected Franz von Gaisberg as the new abbot . His office was the custodian . Together with Heinrich Buman, senior officer of the early-office chaplain, he had to look after the students, "that you keep the cops". As custodian, Heer was also responsible for the monastery library .

Ulrich Heer is probably identical to the Udalricus, mon mentioned in the Nekrologium 1442 . pbr. who died on December 23, 1514. There are no further sources for his person.
