Ulrichskreuz (Heraldry)
The Ulrich Cross is a coat of arms figure in heraldry .
The Ulrichskreuz became known through its legendary connection with the battle on the Lechfeld in 955 and as a symbol of the holy bishop Ulrich von Augsburg . It is occasionally set as a heraldic cross in coat of arms with reference to the diocese or bishopric of Augsburg and should then be mentioned in the coat of arms description . In heraldic art, the cross is just a special form of the paw cross . The cross arms are particularly wide.
