Ulrike Hillmann

Ulrike Hillmann (* 1953 in Bad Segeberg ) is President of the Kiel Regional Court and a judge at the Schleswig-Holstein State Constitutional Court .

Career

After studying law in Kiel and Lausanne, she joined the judge in 1979. In 1994 she was elected deputy director of the Bad Segeberg District Court, in 1997 as Vice-President of the District Court of Lübeck , in 2004 as Vice-President of the District Court of Kiel and finally as its President in 2010. In 2008 she was elected judge at the Schleswig-Holstein State Constitutional Court .

Church engagement

Hillmann was a member of the regional synod of the North Elbian Church from 2003 to 2012, and has been vice-president since 2009. Since 2012 she has been a member of the regional synod of the Northern Church and a deputy member of the church leadership. As a member of the board of directors she is active in the state association for internal mission in Schleswig-Holstein. In November 2018 she was elected President by the regional synod.
