Umm Salal ( Arabic أم صلال, DMG Umm Ṣalāl ), also Umm Salal Muhammed , is a city and capital of the Umm Salal municipality in Qatar . In April 2015 a population of 90,835 people was counted. The Umm-Salal Sport Club , which plays in the Qatar Stars League , is also based here.
