Unchallenged Hate is a German death metal / grindcore band from Essen , North Rhine-Westphalia . The name of the band is borrowed from the song of the same name by the grindcore band Napalm Death , which already allows conclusions to be drawn about the musical as well as the content. Other references include Misery Index , Dying Fetus or Brutal Truth .

history

Unchallenged Hate was founded in December 1997 in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, by drummer Carsten Rehmann (All the Ashes, Mercury Tide) and guitarist Robert Nowak ( Jack Slater , Japanese combat radio plays ). The line-up was completed a few weeks later by Oliver Häde on vocals and Stefan Kaminski on bass.

Together they released the first EP Cancer in 1999 and the first full album Refuge the following year . Both CDs, as well as all other recordings by the band, were produced by Carsten Rehmann with the help of Robert Nowak in his own studio CKB Recording.

In 2002, the band's second album, Politics, followed , which was the last with bassist Stefan Kaminski, who died unexpectedly in 2003.

The entry of bassist Patrick Semper (formerly Marauder) at the beginning of 2005 was followed by the album The Art of Method in 2006 , before Oliver Häde had to leave the band in 2007.

The split CD Earsplitting (with By Brute Force ) was recorded in 2008 with Michael Stift on the microphone . However, he left Unchallenged Hate for lack of time to devote himself to his main task as bassist with Phobiatic .

With the subsequent entry of the Hagen singer Tobias (formerly Mental Aberration and others), the LP New Hate Order was released in 2012 , the band's first collaboration with the Bielefeld label Grind Attack.
