And life goes on ( Persian زندگی و دیگر هیچ, Zendegi va digar hich ) is an Iranian semi-documentary fictional film directed by Abbas Kiarostami from 1992 . The film follows a director on his journey through northern Iran, which was badly hit by the Manjil Rudbar quake in 1990 .
background
After a severe earthquake shook northern Iran in 1990, director Abbas Kiarostami traveled to the region to look for the two main actors with whom he had written the film Where is my friend's house four years earlier ? had turned. His journey through the disaster area inspired Kiarostami to make a semi-documentary film. He accompanies a father with his son who is also looking for the two children.
criticism
The lexicon of international films judged that the result was a “deeply humane film that lives on the hope of a tomorrow and ascribes confidence to human nature”. And life goes on is "despite the serious topic a sometimes cheerful film that wants to encourage courage and convinces through the loving interaction of the two main actors."
