Undecane
The Undecane are a group of substances from the group of alkanes . It consists of 159 isomeric compounds with the empirical formula C 11 H 24 .
The linear representative is the n -undecane .

use
The isomers of undecane are used in the separation of alkylphenols by means of azeotropic rectification , in which the isomers are used as entrainers .
