Underclassmen (UCM for short) is an English-speaking rap formation from Basel . It consists of from Boston coming rappers Trig and Kaotic Concrete , the producer Phil Pro and the two DJs A.LK and tray .

biography

The first vinyl - Single Weak Ideas was published in 1999. This triggered not only in Switzerland but also in Germany and the USA reactions. This is how DJ Next , who also comes from Boston, came about . So is Underclassmen on his producer CD, which ironically is based in Boston. The group is featured on his producer's album Back to the Grill, again with the title My Hip-Hop , on which the Swedish rapper Promoe can also be heard. Thanks to these works, the crew has made a name for itself internationally. The hip-hop - Sales Land Speed Records from Boston is so for the worldwide distribution of Maxi 365 Live responsible. In 2004 Underclassmen recorded the Phil Pro- produced song Make Way with rap group K-otix and rapper Donte of Mood , which appeared on K-otix's album Ethos and was distributed worldwide by Groove Attack . In the same year Kaotic Concrete's Maxi Time to Build followed , which was again distributed by Traffic Entertainment. In the meantime some collaborations and publications with Swiss artists have taken place. The single Time to Build made contact with the South Korean producer Loptimist , with whom several songs were recorded.

Through years of stage presence on Swiss concerts was underclassmen often as Tour - Support for American artists like Inspectah Deck , Defari or Lords of the Underground operates.
