Undine Lux (born February 5, 1988 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German singer .

Life

Undine Lux grew up in Fürstenwalde / Spree as the daughter of a car mechanic and an educator . She has a younger sister.

Even as a child, Undine Lux had the dream of becoming a singer, which is why her parents enrolled her in the LOS music and art school for singing lessons in 1998. There she completed 10 years of professional vocal training and made her first stage experience in the pop and gospel choir "The Golden Voices". At the same time, she was a member of a show dance group for several years. After graduating from school, she decided to train as a state-recognized educator in Fürstenwalde. She also went to America as an au pair for a year , where she learned to love country music as well as the language .

Undine Lux celebrated her first musical successes as "Germany's official Helene Fischer Double". After she was approached by an agency at an appearance, the first appearances in furniture stores, at city festivals, galas, hit parties, but also on television, followed at the end of 2008, together with the original: Helene Fischer. The soccer world championship in 2014 saw the biggest appearance so far in Frankfurt's Commerzbank-Arena in front of around 30,000 people.

Since Undine Lux always wanted to be perceived as an independent singer, the desire to record her own album grew. After several record companies had rejected her, she decided in 2015, together with her manager Mario Geyermann, to found her own label (Pink Pearl Music). On November 9, 2015, the first single "November in Paris" was released, which was unfortunately overshadowed by the terrorist attack in the Parisian concert hall Bataclan . Many radio stations took the title out of the program because they feared that listeners could connect the line "November in Paris" with the attack. It was an absolute catastrophe for the newcomer . In May 2016 the debut album PINK was released, which Undine Lux recorded together with the producers André Stade and Achim Radloff. Since she didn't have to bend over to the independence of her own music label, she was able to express herself creatively and be completely "herself". In the summer of 2016, the second single “Show how you dance” was released, with which she appeared on the ZDF TV garden on August 7th . In order to give the single “November in Paris” a well-deserved second chance, Undine Lux and Mario Geyermann decided to release the PINK Deep House Remix of the same name as their third single one year after it was released. For the video shoot, they drove to Paris , where they were robbed by a criminal gang. Although the shooting almost stopped, a music video was made at the Eiffel Tower .

She is currently working on the second album with her producer Achim Radloff. Undine Lux celebrates its 10th stage anniversary in 2018.
