União das Freguesias de Beja (Santiago Maior e São João Baptista) , Beja for short (Santiago Maior e São João Batista) , is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in Portugal in the district ( Concelho ) of Beja , with 51.27 km² and 14,015 inhabitants (As of 2011 figures). It represents the most important inner city municipality of the city of Beja.

The congregation was created in the course of the administrative reorganization in Portugal on September 29, 2013, through the merger of the previously independent congregations Santiago Maior (Beja) and São João Baptista (Beja) .
