União de Freguesias the Creixomil e Mariz , short Creixomil e Mariz is a village ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Barcelos in the north of Portugal .

The municipality has 1,208 inhabitants on an area of 6.98 km² (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by amalgamating the previous municipalities Creixomil (Barcelos) and Mariz . Creixomil became the seat of the municipality.
