The União das Freguesias de Ribeira de Pena (Salvador) e Santo Aleixo de Além-Tâmega is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Ribeira de Pena in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Ribeira De Pena (Salvador) and Santo Aleixo de Além-Tâmega .

Ribeira De Pena became the seat of the new administration.
