The United Freestylers are a multidisciplinary show group from Cologne that specializes in other freestyle disciplines such as basketball freestyle, breakdance , parkour, tricking, freerunning , footbag , BMX freestyle and frisbee freestyle in addition to the focus on football freestyle .

history

United Freestyler was founded in 2003 by the sports marketing and event agency "4attention" from Cologne. As part of a worldwide advertising campaign by Nike , the best artists from a wide variety of freestyle disciplines were selected. Some of the best freestylers appeared after the campaign under the name “Nike Freestyler”. In 2009 the show group was renamed United Freestyler due to the addition of the disciplines Parkour , Tricking , Freerunning, Footbag, BMX Freestyle and Frisbee Freestyle. In the area of ​​breakdancing, the United Freestylers cooperate with the Flying Steps dance group .

With their shows and choreographies , the show group appears worldwide at trade fairs, events, sporting events or customer events, they are guests in TV programs or actors in advertising and cinema films. Several Guinness world records are held by the show group. Dominik Kaiser and Timo Löhnenbach set the world record for the longest duration of headers in pairs at the Champions League Final 2007 in Athens (8min 6s). The record in 2010 for most “around the moon tricks” in one minute was set by Adrian Fogel (61). Freestyler Adrian was also seen in the television commercial for the 2006 World Cup as Franz Beckenbauer's trick double and in 2007 was the betting king at Wetten, dass ..? in China.

Freestylers Dominik Kaiser (2008) and Timo Löhnenbach (2009) won the first two national Red Bull Street Style Qualifiers in Germany. At the YouTube Secret Talent Award 2009, the show group's soccer freestylers took second place. The United Freestylers took part in Das Supertalent in 2010 and reached the semi-finals of the live shows.

In 2011 the United Freestyler Base was founded in Cologne, which enables young people and children to learn the tricks of the football freestyle professionals.
