Unity is a city in the western part of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . The population is 2,462 people. Unity is at the intersection of Highways 14 and 21 .

education

There are two primary schools, St. Peter's Catholic School (K-7) and the Unity Public School (K-6) . Unity Composite High School (UCHS) is a publicly funded school for 7th to 12th grade. The primary schools are attended by 150 students each, the UCHS by 250 to 300 students.

Unity is connected to Saskatoon, Toronto, Jasper, and Vancouver by VIA Rail's The Canadian line .

Trivia

A little south of the town is Muddy Lake, which inspired Kevin Kerr for his play Unity, 1918 .
