The University of Francisco de Paula Santander ( Spanish Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander , UFPS) is a state university with headquarters in Cúcuta and branches in Ocaña and Los Patios in Colombia .
It is named after the former President of the Republic of New Granada, Francisco de Paula Santander .
