Unleash the Archers ("Unleash the Archers") is a Canadian power metal band.
history
Scott Buchanan and Brayden Dyczkowski already had a band when she at the University were. Brittney Hayes was a regular at her concerts. When this group broke up, Hayes agreed with Dyczkowski to join the band as a singer. In addition, Buchanan should be part of the band again. To complete the line-up, they searched a website for local musicians. The group came across Zahk Hedstrom and Mike Selman. With this line-up, Unleash the Archers was founded in 2007 in Victoria . In 2010 the band moved to Vancouver in order to reach a wider audience. On this occasion Selman left the band, in 2011 Hedstrom moved back to Victoria. Shortly thereafter, a new member was added with Brad Kennedy. In 2013, Kennedy got out again and Dyczkowski left the group. With the arrival of Andrew Kingsley, the band developed a traditional heavy metal sound. In February 2015, the band announced that they had signed a contract with Napalm Records . Great influences on Hayes' voice and music were Iron Maiden , Lost Horizon , Iced Earth and Judas Priest .
