description

The series of magazines, our fighter pilots , appeared in 1943 and was published by the general of the fighter pilots on behalf of Hermann Göring . The individual issues had a size of 48 to 64 pages and contained several photo pages. The title page was kept very simple. The series appeared in the Hanns Arens publishing house in Berlin / Herrlingen , which was actually founded for the publication of literary editions of letters and sources . In addition to relevant journalists and war reporters - including the later theater director Kurt Hübner and the later ZDF director Karl Holzamer - the authors of the individual issues were also authors related to aviation, such as Franz Ludwig Neher and Adalbert Norden (di Adalbert Schultz, 1901–1986) the well-known writers Friedrich Griese and Walter von Molo . The authorship of the South African professor and “air force psychologistPaul Robert Skawran (1900–1986) is striking .
