Upchurch (born May 24, 1991 in Pegram , Tennessee ), full name Ryan Edward Upchurch , is an American country rapper and comedian. He's also called Upchurch the Redneck .
biography
In 2014, Ryan Upchurch started posting some country rap parodies on the internet for fun. He gained popularity very quickly and released a single that same year called Raise Hell and Eat Cornbread . He also called himself Upchurch the Redneck because his lyrics revolve around the idiosyncrasies and prejudices of southern youth. Cheatham County was released as an independent publication in 2015 , named after the district where he lived in Cheatham . The EP made it into the country and rap charts. A few months later, the first album Heart of America was released with Bubba Sparxxx as a guest rapper. Half a year later, Chicken Willie appeared again . In the meantime he had founded his own label RHEC Entertainment , named after the initials of his first single and later renamed Redneck Nation . Both albums hit the charts again, Chicken Willie even reached number 1 on the Heatseeker charts.
After another album at the end of the year, Son of the South was released in May 2017. This was the first time Upchurch entered the official album charts . At the same time he released an EP with classic country songs under his full name called Summer Love , which also hit the country charts. With the albums King of Dixie and Creeker , which came out in quick succession, he surpassed the previous result. At Creeker he also worked with hard rock guitars.
