Gerhard Urain (born August 30, 1972 in Rottenmann ) is a former Austrian cross-country skier. He was active in the World Cup from 1992 to 2005.

Life

His parent club is SC Rottenmann. In his active time as a top athlete, he was able to run into the World Cup points and among the top ten in the cross-country World Cup several times . His greatest successes in the World Cup are two sixth places (one of them in the relay) and three eighth places in 2000. In March 2000 he won the Engadin Skimarathon .

In major events, he was able to get his best result with a fourth place in the men's relay at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City in 2002.
