The well-preserved Urdolmen of Twietfort (also called Twietfort 1) is located a few 100 m west of the forester's house Twietfort near Ganzlin , south of Plau am See in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The large stone grave with the Sprockhoff no. 419 was created between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC in the Neolithic as a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).

The small north-south oriented chamber of the recessed ancient dolmen, which is closed on all sides, lies in a hill. The size of the chamber is 1.6 × 0.8 m. The western side consists of one, the eastern side of two bearing stones. In the south the chamber is closed by two stones lying on top of each other. The keystone on the north side is missing, which is why a more precise determination of the Urdolmen is not possible. It is z. B. not clear whether it is a block box. The 1.60 × 1.40 meter capstone lies on top. A number of Bronze Age vessels were found, which should come from a subsequent burial .

The Dolmen Twietfort 2 is nearby .
