Urs Schwarz (born August 4, 1926 in Zofingen ; † March 5, 2015 ), reformed , resident in Zofingen, Mülligen and Brugg , was a Swiss politician (FDP) .

biography

Urs Schwarz, son of the factory director Rudolf Schwarz, took up a degree in economics at the University of Bern after completing his Matura , which he achieved with the academic degree of Dr. oec. publ. completed. Schwarz - he married Edith, née Clavadetscher, in 1957 - subsequently worked as a trustee with his own office. In the Swiss Army, he held the position of infantry major.

Urs Schwarz - he joined the FDP - represented his party in the Zofingen city ​​council from 1956 to 1965 , and in the residents' council from 1966 to 1970 . In 1971 the people elected him to the National Council , where he presided over the Economic, Education, Culture and Finance commissions, and in 1987 he resigned from the National Council. Schwarz made particular contributions to local historiography and the development of Zofingen's old town.
