Urs Tabbert (born December 5, 1971 in Nürtingen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Tabbert studied law and philosophy in Göttingen and Poitiers (France). This was followed by an administrative internship at the European Commission in Brussels and an internship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court . After that he settled down as a lawyer.

In 2005 Tabbert became a member of the deputation of the judicial authorities and on the advisory board of the Billwerder prison . He is also a member of the State Judicial Examination Office , the Judges 'Committee, the Winterhude Citizens' Association and the City Park Association.

Tabbert is deputy chairman of the SPD Hamburg-Nord and the Working Group of Social Democratic Lawyers (AsJ) Hamburg.

Tabbert has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 2011 . There he was spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group for justice and data protection and a member of the justice committee, interior committee, chairman of the G-10 commission and the control committee for parliamentary control of the Senate in the area of ​​the protection of the constitution . He was also a deputy member of the special committee on violent riots around the G20 summit in Hamburg .

Tabbert is married and has two daughters.
