State Judicial Examination Office
A state judicial examination office is an authority in the framework of the Federal Republic of Germany existing two-stage legal education , the first law exam and the Second State Examination decreases. State justice examination offices can - this differs depending on the federal state - be parts of the respective state ministries of justice as well as of higher regional courts . Some states have a joint state justice examination office (Berlin and Brandenburg or Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein). In some federal states there are also different examination offices for the first legal examination and the second legal state examination. The legal basis for the legal examinations are the respective legal training laws and regulations of the federal states. During the Third Reich, the state justice examination offices were disbanded as part of the Gleichschaltung . The tasks were performed by the Reich Justice Examination Office.
