The Dürrenbach , also called Dürnbach (old Dirnbach ), partly also called in particular on the upper reaches Altrappelsbach , Ursprungbach or Aschachbach , is a small left tributary of the Gaflenz near Weyer in the Ennstal in Upper Austria .

Run and landscape

The stream originates in the mountains of the western Ybbstaler Alps , southeast of Weyer on Hegerberg Crest , from a plurality of part only episodic water-bearing forest streams, with most particular one (in the comb east to west) from the water head Altrappelsbach which the Hochdreizipf Hüttgrabenbach that the Förster Kogel origin Bach , of the high rough gravel Aschachbach are called (but in some cases also be interchanged, or referred to as the upper reaches). They finally unite at Waldhütte .

The brook then runs northwards and reaches the valley of Pichl , which leads eastwards over the Pichlhöhe (Saurüssel) over into the Ybbstal . The Grundhartnergraben joins here . In a north-westerly direction the brook then goes to Mühlein , where the Mühlein brook flows from the Brenntenberg , and then to Weyer . Here in the center of the village, after about 7 kilometers from Waldhütte, it joins the Gaflenz from the left , which shortly thereafter runs into the Enns .

Individual evidence

  1. a b c d e The Austrian card (OEK) are Dürrbach on the middle course (there also positioning Geonam ) Altrappelsbach (the water head) at forest cabin, and originating Bach (from Förster Kogel) as an independent name of the source streams, which remains unclear in the latter, whether this flows into the Aschachbach (from Hochrauhschotter) or vice versa: only the valley name Aschachbachgraben is listed in the ÖK50 (as of 2018) ;
    the area directory (version 2011) gives Dürrenbach 2-134-256-018, whereby the catchment area sections 001 (from the Försterkogel) and 003 are managed as Dürrenbach (Ursprungbach) , the Altrappelsbach (like ÖK / basemap) as a tributary 2-134-256- 018-004 (sections 001, 003), also Aschachbach 2-134-256-018-002; However, the name Dürnbach is used in section 2-134-256-018-005 (middle course), as well as in section 019 of the Gaflenzbach (but not for 017 above) ;
    the Oö. Wasserbuch gives different ID 1085 Altrappelsbach for the whole brook to Weyer including the right source brook (stationed 10.4051 km), ID 6954 Ursprungbach [Dürnbach] as the left source brook for the stream from Hochrauhschotter (Aschachbach - lower origin brook to HZB; stationed 2.429 km) , and ID 430373 Dürrenbach for the Ursprungbach according to ÖK (station 1.2843 km); Length of the Altrappelsbach according to ÖK / HZB approx. 3 km depending on the source stream at the Wasserkopf;
    the map basemap gives Dürnbach for the majority of the run, at Waldhütte Altrappelsbach (right side stream according to ÖK), and Ursprungbach both for the stream to the left from Waldhütte (from the Försterkogel, like the ÖK), as well as that (left overall) from the Sulzkogel and Schrabachauerkogel upcoming channel (ID 430375 of the water book, Dürrenbach feeder , 1.0896 km); Dürnbach names
    the 3rd regional recording (around 1870) like the inscription of the ÖK; Souvant 1857 names
    Dürnb [ach] at Mühlein and the location Am Dirnbach at Pichl, as well as the Aschachbach according to ÖK; the 2nd regional record ( original map , around 1830) gives depending on the sheet Dirnbach or Dürnbach , location Am Dirnbach , at Waldhütte Hochenbergerbach right (for the Altrappelsbach of the ÖK) and Aschbach left (upper reaches not mapped); (all information from DORIS, subject of water bodies , layers of small bodies of water and detailed catchment areas , as well as subject of first land surveys or original map , each with background maps; accessed October 5, 2018); The name Dürrenbach bei Weyer is customary in the area, with Dürnbach / Dirnbach being the older form, as the Dirnbachler farmstead in Pichl am Mitterlauf shows; Diversity and inconsistency of names can be found more often in space
