Ursula Aarburg

Ursula Aarburg (born January 13, 1924 in Lübeck ; † May 15, 1967 in Bremen ) was a German musicologist and specialist in minnesang and troubadour poetry .

Aarburg studied musicology and German in Frankfurt am Main. Here she received her doctorate with a dissertation on the singing styles of Blondel de Nesle . She wrote numerous essays on minstrel and troubadour poetry.
