Fredrik Ohlsson
Fredrik Ohlsson (* 12. June 1931 in Ulricehamn , Västergötland as Carl Fredrik Walter Ola Ohlsson ) is a Swedish actor .
life and career
Frederick Ohlsson received his acting training from Axel Witzansky in Stockholm and also won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art , where he then studied for two years. In 1959 he made his film debut as a steward in Affair in Blond at the side of Anthony Steel and Birger Malmsten . He had little success in the film business, but on stage he was able to gain attention with his appearance in the Swedish production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying . In the decades that followed, Ohlsson worked at many renowned theaters in his country, while simultaneously impersonating supporting roles in film and television.
In Germany he was best known for his role as Mr. Settergren , father of Tommy and Annika, in the television series Pippi Longstocking , which was made in the late 1960s . Ohlsson played in the recent past, among others, a small supporting role in the Stieg Larsson- film version delusion of in 2009.
The actor has been in a relationship with the singer Siw Malmkvist, who is also known in Germany, since 1971 .
