Ursula Hammann (born September 16, 1955 in Biebesheim ) is a German politician at Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and was a member of the Hessian state parliament from 1995 to 2019 , where she was vice-president from 2012 to 2019.

She had been a member of the state parliament since April 5, 1995. On March 27, 2012 Ursula Hammann was elected Vice President of the Hessian State Parliament. She was chairman of the parliament's committee for the environment, climate protection, agriculture and consumer protection and a member of the European committee. She was responsible for the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen as a member of the parliamentary group's executive committee and as their political spokesperson for nature conservation, animal welfare and Europe. In 2009 she was a member of the Federal Assembly for the election of the Federal President.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , she ran in the constituency of Groß-Gerau II . Here she was defeated by Günter Schork . However, she succeeded in entering the state parliament above her party's third place on the list. She was confirmed as Vice-President of the State Parliament at the constituent session at the beginning of the 19th legislative period on January 18, 2014. Hammann did not run for health reasons in the state elections in Hesse in 2018 .
