Ursula Knaak

Ursula Knaak (born March 15, 1918 - † February 26, 2011 ) was a German child and youth psychiatrist and university teacher.

Life

After studying medicine, Ursula Knaak began working as a doctor for paediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry at the Hanover Children's Hospital in 1956 . In 1962 she became chief physician in the new department for child and adolescent psychiatry. In 1963 she received her doctorate from the University of Göttingen . From 1971 to 1973 she was also the medical director of the children's hospital on the Bult . In 1985 she retired, but was still active as a board member in the Association of Friends of the Hannoversche Kinderheilanstalt eV until 1998

Ursula Knaak was buried in Neuss .
