Ursula Stinkes

Ursula Stinkes (* 1959 in Breyell ) is a German special education teacher and has been a professor for mentally handicapped education at the faculty for special education at the Ludwigsburg University of Education since 1999 . Before that she was a research assistant at the Universities of Cologne, Dortmund and Würzburg. In 1991 he did his doctorate on the subject of traces of a stranger nearby. The mentally handicapped child from a phenomenological point of view (reviewer: Walther Dreher , University of Cologne ; Käte Meyer-Drawe , Ruhr University Bochum ). Ursula Stinkes is the head of the Institute for Special Education , a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the magazine Sonderpädagogische Förder heute and the magazine Disabled Education , as well as a long-standing member of the Childhood and Youth Committee and the Foundation Committee of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Life Aid Foundation and representative of the Baden-Wuerttemberg universities in the Association of Special Education eV (VdS).

Teaching and research

Ursula Stinkes is engaged in research and teaching with body phenomenological theories of intellectual development , concepts for working with the body, body language and body memory, anthropological and ethical questions about the conditionality of human existence, education of children and young people with (severe) mental disabilities , didactic aspects of caring for and being cared for as well as possibilities of integrative schooling and opportunities / limits of the vision of inclusion .
