Käte Meyer-Drawe (born June 6, 1949 in Bielefeld ) is a German educator and university lecturer at the Ruhr University in Bochum .

Career

Käte Meyer-Drawe did her doctorate in Bielefeld in 1978 on the topic: The concept of closeness to life and its meaning for an educational theory of learning and teaching. In 1984 he completed his habilitation on the subject of physicality and sociality. Phenomenological contributions to an educational theory of inter-subjectivity . She is a retired professor for theories of upbringing and educational science at the Ruhr University Bochum. In 2015 she was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts .
