Urszula Stefania Pasławska (born January 28, 1977 in Biskupiec ) is a Polish politician . From 2006 to 2012 she was deputy Woiwodschaftsmarschallin of Sejmik of Warmia and Mazury , from 2012 to 2015 deputy leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL) and State Secretary in the Ministry of Treasury . Since 2015 she has been a member of the Sejm in the eighth legislative period .

Life

Urszula Pasławska studied law and administration at the University of Gdansk and then completed a postgraduate course in European integration and cross-border cooperation at the University of Warmia-Masuria in Olsztyn . From 2001 she worked at the Marshal's Office in Olsztyn in the Infrastructure and Geodesy Department. In 2003 she was employed at the city office in Biskupiec as a consultant for foreign cooperation and aids. In 2006 she took the position of head of the board of the schools and kindergartens in her hometown. From 2004 to 2006, Pasławska was also the chairman of the supervisory board in the operation of the city's real estate and the local municipal utilities.

In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2005 , she ran unsuccessfully for the Sejm on the PSL electoral list. In the self-government elections in 2006, however, she won a mandate for the Sejmik of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for the same party. From 2008 to 2012 she was party secretary of the PSL Voivodeship Association and was briefly chairman of her party in the Olsztyn district. In 2010 she won another mandate to become a Sejmik. Once again, however, she was denied entry into the Sejm in the 2011 parliamentary elections in Poland . On June 20, 2012, she became State Secretary in the Ministry of State Assets, but remained a member of the Sejmik. On December 1 of the same year, she took up the position of deputy chairman of the PSL board and held this position until November 20, 2015. After a third and again successful candidacy for the Sejmik in 2014, she moved to the Sejm as a successor in 2015. In the 2015 parliamentary elections in Poland , she was finally able to win the mandate with 6,354 votes.

Pasławska is a great-granddaughter of Bogumił Labusz , co-founder and chairman of the former Masurian People's Party .
