Uta Schütz

Uta Schütz (born August 8, 1955 in Mörlenbach ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant. The 1.77 m tall and 63 kg heavy athlete started for the DSW 1912 Darmstadt .

She won numerous German championships:

  • 200 m freestyle: 1971
  • 200 m dolphin: 1973
  • 400 m freestyle: 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974
  • 400 m individual medley: 1973 and 1974
  • 800 m freestyle: 1971, 1972 and 1974

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , she competed in the 200, 400 and 800 m freestyle, but could not qualify for any final. Your results:

  • 200 m freestyle: 15th place (2: 12.84 min.) Among 33 starters
  • 400 m freestyle: 10th place (4: 34.67 min.) Among 29 starters
  • 800 m freestyle: 10th place (9: 22.93 min.) Among 35 starters
