Ute Haese

Ute Haese (born March 23, 1958 in Kiel ) is a German writer .

Life

The political scientist and historian, who holds a doctorate, initially worked as a scientist at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In addition to specialist publications, she also wrote numerous journalistic commentaries on political and social topics and - in some cases together with her husband Torsten Prawitt - several non-fiction books. She has been working full-time as a freelance writer since 1998 and now devotes herself exclusively to crime fiction and satirical fiction, as well as photography. She is also represented in various anthologies with short stories. In addition, she writes so-called complete romance novels for various women's magazines under several pseudonyms .

Ute Haese lives on Schönberger Strand in Schleswig-Holstein. She is a member of the Murderous Sisters - Association of German-speaking crime writers . and in the Syndikat , the authors' group of German-language crime literature.
