Ute Hasse (born September 16, 1963 in Düren ) is a former German swimmer who competed for the Federal Republic of Germany . In 1984 she won an Olympic silver medal in the individual medley.

Ute Hasse started for the swimming and sports fans in Bonn in 1905 . In 1983 and 1984 she became German champion in the 200-meter breaststroke. In 1984 she became German team champion with the Bonn team, in 1985 she won another championship title with the Bonn layer relay.

At the European Championships in Rome in 1983 , she was sixth over 200 meters breast and won bronze in the individual relay relay. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , Hasse was sixth in the 200 meter chest. Over 100 meters breast she missed the final just like the German champion Angelika Knipping ; Ute Hasse won the B run and was ninth. The layer relay made up of Svenja Schlicht , Ute Hasse, Ina Beyermann and Karin Seick reached second place behind the US relay.
