Ute Rettler
Ute Rettler (born December 7, 1961 in Mayen ) has been the director of the Federal Council since April 2015 with the rank of State Secretary .
Life
After studying law , Rettler initially worked from 1990 to 2010 as a consultant and section head at the Federal Ministry of the Interior . In 2010 she became Deputy Director of the Bundesrat, Secretary of the Legal Committee and Managing Director of the Mediation Committee of the Bundestag and Bundesrat. From April 2015 she replaced Gerd Schmitt as Director of the Federal Council.
