Ute Tietje

Ute Tietje (born February 6, 1949 in Bremen ) is a German journalist and author .

She has been writing articles for specialist magazines since 1987. In 1999 her first book was published by Franckh-Kosmos Verlag. Her range of topics includes equestrian books, including a lexicon for western riding, special cookbooks as well as a novel and a youth adventure book. Two of her books have also appeared in Hungary and the Netherlands.

Her publications in magazines and daily newspapers include equestrian topics from the Southwest of the USA such as museums, historical ranches and locations, as well as reporting on major events such as B. for years the QH World Championship in Oklahoma City.

From 1990 to 2007, the graduate in business administration worked on her own ranch near Verden , but also nationwide, as a trainer in western riding with a special focus on youth work. Since 1991 she has toured the American Southwest several times a year to collect material for new books and publications, and spent much of 2007 in Canada. Andalusia is also one of her preferred research regions, as are many other countries in the world.
