qualification

The qualifying rounds took place November 5-9, 2011 at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester .

For the first time in over 20 years, Stephen Hendry had to take part in a qualifying tournament after the seven-time ex-world champion fell from the top 16 of the snooker world rankings.
