The Premier League Snooker 2011 was a snooker tournament that was held from August 18 to November 27, 2011 in various locations in Great Britain.

In the final, Ronnie O'Sullivan from England defeated the Chinese Ding Junhui 7-1 and won his tenth title at this tournament.

format

The 2011 Premier League was an invitation tournament with no impact on the world rankings . The mode of the tournament has changed compared to previous years. Instead of the previous seven, it was played for the first time in 2011 with ten players. There were a total of ten Premier League events in different cities in Great Britain. Four players were used at each of these events. It was played in the best of 5 mode , i.e. on three winning frames. Three matches were played per event; first player 1 against player 2 and player 3 against player 4 and finally the two winners against each other.

The best four players in this group stage then played in the final round to win the tournament in knockout mode.
