Ute Wiedemann

Ute Wiedemann (* 20th January 1954 in Bernburg (Saale) ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 1994 to 2002 member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1972, she trained as a home educator with a qualification to teach art education and school gardens . From 1977 to 1980 she worked as a pioneer leader and art teacher in the lower school . From 1986 until she moved into the state parliament in 1994, she worked as an educator in the after-school care center . After the fall of the Berlin Wall, she was also head of a branch office for the after-school care center.

Wiedemann is married and has three children.

Political party

In January 1990 Wiedemann joined the SPD and has been chairwoman of the SPD local association in Breitenstein ever since . Since 1997 she has also been a member of the SPD district executive in Sangerhausen and, since 2007, of the district association Mansfeld-Südharz .

From 1990 to 1994, Wiedemann was a member of the Breitenstein municipal council and since 1990 a member of the district council of the Sangerhausen district and since 2007 of the Mansfeld-Südharz district . She was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt and represented the constituency of Sangerhausen . She was a member of the Committee on Education and Science and the Committee on Equality, Children, Youth and Sport.
