Utholmen

Utholmen (meaning outer island translated from Norwegian ) is an island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the north-westernmost island of the Flatvær group on the east side of the entrance to Lützow-Holm-Bucht .

Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1946 using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . Their naming was based on their geographical position.
