Utopian Land is a song by the Greek band Argo . You represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song .

Background and publication

The song Utopian Land was written by Vladimiros Sofianides and published on March 10, 2016. The group was selected internally by the Greek TV broadcaster ERT to represent the country in Sweden at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest. On March 10, 2016 it was announced that they would perform with the song Utopian Land. It will be the first song at the Eurovision Song Contest that is partly sung in the Pontic language . In the first semi-final on May 10th, Greece could not qualify for the final. This was the first time Greece had been eliminated before the final since the introduction of the semi-finals.
