Utrinden ( Norwegian for Outer Ridge ) is a headland in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica . It is located on the northwest side of the Kuven hill near the southwest end of Kirwanveggen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the headland, carried out a mapping based on aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
