The Kuven ( Norwegian for hump ) is a prominent hill in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises between the Gommen valley and the Kuvsletta ice plateau near the southwestern end of Kirwanveggen in Maudheimvidda .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the hill descriptively, carried out a mapping based on aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
