Gommen (Norwegian for rubber ) is an icy valley in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It lies between the rock spurs Tunga and the hill Kuven near the southwestern end of Kirwanveggen in Maudheimvidda .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the valley based on surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
