The La Rochelle Business School (French: École supérieure de commerce de La Rochelle ) is a Grande École de Commerce , d. H. one of the highly selective French university-level commercial schools . It was founded in 1988 in La Rochelle , the capital of the Charente-Maritime department , in the Minimes university district . The La Rochelle Business School is the flagship institution of the Sup de Co La Rochelle university group, which was renamed "Excelia Group La Rochelle" in autumn 2018. With effect from September 1, 2016, the group also holds a majority stake in ESCEM , the former School of Business and Management in Tours, Poitiers and Orléans .

Profile and accreditations

La Rochelle Business School is a member of the Conférence des grandes écoles . The business school EFMD-EPAS has been accredited since 2011 . The accreditation by the AACSB took place in 2013. La Rochelle Business School is thus one of the 5% worldwide that has this seal of approval.

Rankings

La Rochelle Business School was included in the Financial Times Ranking of European Business Schools for the first time in 2014 (rank 76). In 2015, the commercial college was ranked 71st. The La Rochelle Business School Master in Management ranked 48th in 2015.

In the French "Le Point Ranking", the Grande École (Master of Management) program at La Rochelle Business School ranks 21st among the 36 worthy of the 200 business schools in France.

Study programs

The Grande École program

The Grande École program is the most selective program at La Rochelle Business School. Only those who have prevailed in the nationwide concours (selection process) will be accepted. Each student spends 6–12 months at one of the partner universities (see below).

Bachelor Programs

  • Bachelor in International Business: 4-year program following the French or international Abitur, which includes two years of study abroad, with the option of double diplomas (studies in English and French possible).
  • Bachelor in Business: 3-year program following the French or international Abitur (study in French).
  • Bachelor in Management of Tourism: 3-year program following the French or international Abitur, which prepares you for a career in the tourism industry (studies in English and French possible).
