The Utting is a motor-driven passenger ship on the Ammersee , which has been running the liner service between the towns on the lake since July 2017 . The ship was named after its predecessor after the municipality of Utting am Ammersee .

history

The Lux-Werft manufactured the shell of the MS Utting as hull number 212, which arrived in Stegen on April 12, 2017 and was completed there in the Bayerische Seenschifffahrt shipyard . The ship was christened on July 7, 2017 in Utting at the Dampfersteg; The godmother was the regional bishop Susanne Breit-Keßler .
